FUFA has released the categorisation of academies that applied during the initial and extended registration period, which closed on 13th February, 2026.
The academies are listed under Category Two, Category Three, Schools of Football, Provisional Certificate and Under Review after the meeting the requirements and inspection by FUFA.
FUFA had extended the deadline to give more academies time to meet requirements.
A nationwide inspection followed, focusing on infrastructure, technical capacity, governance and safeguarding standards. An independent expert panel reviewed the findings and graded the academies based on set criteria.
Certificates will be issued to compliant academies, affirming their commitment to quality and professionalism. Those meeting standards have been recommended for licensing by the National Council of Sports. Next registration is on 1st July, 2026.
