Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League 2025/2026 Set To Kick Off This Weekend

The new season of the second division, the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League 2025/2026, will officially get underway this weekend on Saturday, 18th October 2025, simultaneously across different parts of the country.

The new season comes with an increase in teams from 14 to 16, all of which have met the FUFA Club Licensing requirements.

The teams have been pooled into two groups, Elizabeth and Victoria, each comprising eight teams. The grouping has been done based on geographical location to ease the burden of transport during the league.

The teams in the Elizabeth group are Tooro Queens FC, Boni Consilli WFC, Buhimba Lady Saints FC, She Kasese Soccer Club, PISGBC Queens FC, Wakiso Hill WFC, URA Ladies FC and UPDF WFC.

The Victoria group consists of Ateker WFC, Gold Star Ladies FC, Pabo United WFC, UCU Lady Cardinals FC, Highway Ladies FC, Lira City Queens FC, Jinja United WFC and BUL Women FC.

The leader of each group after the round-robin format will be promoted to the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League.

On Saturday, 18th October 2025, two exciting matches will kick off the season. UPDF Women FC will host PISGBC Queens FC at Bombo Barracks Ground, while Pabo United will welcome Jinja United WFC at Gulu H/S Playground.

Matchday One will conclude on Sunday with five games on the card. Lira City Queens FC take on Highway Ladies FC at Lira Primary School Playground, UCU Lady Cardinals FC make a long trip to the east to face Gold Star Ladies FC at Amus College Stadium, She Kasese Soccer Club welcome URA Ladies FC at Nyakasanga Primary School Kasese, Ateker WFC host Bul Women FC at Soroti Sports Ground, while Buhimba Lady Saints entertain Boni Consilli Girls FC at Kigaya C.O.U Playground.
