The Uganda Cranes players camped in Abu Dhabi preparing for the AFCON Finals due later this month in Egypt has been asked by the head coach Sebastien Desabre to take into account for every chance that comes their way during training.
With the intensity of the preparations getting stiffer each passing day, the tactician has briefed his players on the values of keeping fit and focused.

‘Everything is moving on very well but I don’t expect any one of you to relax. We have two friendly matches on 9th and 15th June before we fly out to Egypt. Give me every reason to pick you in the final squad. The mind and body of each player in camp must remain focused to make my work very easy when selecting the final 23 man squad next week’ said Desabre.

The training continued on Thursday with morning and another scheduled for the evening at the Abu Dhabi Cricket Sports Complex.

There is something special in this camp. We are ready for the tournament but the matches lined up for us before we travel will give us the chance to check on how much we have covered’
