Uganda Women’s National Football Team, the Crested Cranes had yet another practice match against Kampala Select team.
The two teams faced off on Wednesday morning at MTN-Omondi Stadium.
It should be noted that Crested Cranes won the first practice match 9-2 on Monday.
Today’s game ended in a 3-1 win for the national team thanks to goals from Sandra Nabweteme, Shakirah Nyinagahirwa and Joan Ainembabazi.
The consolation goal for the Kampala Select team was scored by Sumaya Nalumu.
The team will have its final friendly game on Friday against Tanzania before travelling to Rwanda.
Uganda will host Rwanda on 12th July at Kigali Pele Stadium before the two teams face off five days later at the first round of the 2024. Women’s Olympic Football Tournament Qualifiers.
