CAF Young Talent Referees’ Course
14th – 18th September 2018.
Kampala Sheraton Hotel.
The CAF Young Talent Referees’ Course officially ended at Sheraton hotel, Kampala with remarks from the FUFA 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha who represented the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo.
The course, the first of its kind in Uganda attratced well over 40 referees.

At the closing ceremony , Mugisha appealed to participants to work hard and promote their talents for the betterment of the game since they still enjoying the early stages of professional refereeing.
Integrity is key if you are to go higher as young referees. Our mission as FUFA is to make Uganda the number one nation in Africa on and off the pitch by developing, promoting and protecting the game of football. When it comes to protecting, it is mainly referees that we look forward to’ said Mugisha
He further appealed to CAF to give more opportunities to Uganda to host such courses in the future because they have the capacity.

CAF Referees’ Committee member Pierre-Alain Mounguengui also emphasised to the refereees that practice will keep them in the know of what they have learnt from the course.
‘You still have space to attain more success. You just need to work hard. It is easy to reach the top but maintaining that status’ noted Mounguengui.
