Uganda Sand Cranes squad of 20 players has been released by new head coach Salim Muwonge in a press Conference at FUFA House on Monday morning to begin training ahead of AFCON Beach Soccer qualifier match against Ivory Coast on 9th September 2018.

Other players: Lule Paul (Buganda Royal Institute), Katwe Allan (Nkumba University), Ochero Sulaiman (St. Lawrence University), Revita Johnney (Isabet), Douglas Muganga and Byaruhanga Rica from Isabet.

The team summoned players will begin non-residential training on Wednesday 22nd August. Residential training will start on 1st September 2018.
Uganda Beach Soccer Association Chairman Deo Mutabazi confirmed the technical team that will work with Head coach Muwonge.

He listed Sseguya Peter as the assistant Coach, Ssebaggala Tonny ( Team Coordinator), Ssekasanvu Julius (Kits man) and ithum Aduny Codian (Medical Officer).
Uganda Beach Soccer League gets BBS Terefayina as broadcast partner
Meanwhile, BBS Telefayina signed a one year contract to broadcast the Uganda Beach Soccer League matches live starting with this season.

BBS TV Head of Marketing Alice Namatovu commended FUFA for giving them the opportunity to broadcast beach soccer league games.
‘We thank FUFA for the partnership. BBS Terefayina will broadcast all Uganda Beach Soccer League games. We shall broadcast each and every game for every Club. It is a marriage towards getting closer to our audience’ said Namatovu
The Chairman Football Development Committee Chris Kalibbala appreciated BBS’s gesture and the Kingdom of Buganda for the support and engagement in developing football in Uganda.
