The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson Suubi has unveiled the new top management team as part of the recently approved secretariat structure aimed at strengthening governance and improving the overall delivery of football in the country.
The development follows the approval of the Secretariat organogram by the 35th FUFA Executive Committee. The structure is designed to enhance organisational effectiveness, reinforce internal systems and support the efficient execution of FUFA’s strategic and operational mandate.
As part of these institutional reforms, FUFA has confirmed the appointment of the following officials to constitute the Top Management Team, effective 1 April 2026.
- Mrs. Ampaire Sheba Ronah – Deputy Chief Executive Officer
- Mr. Bakiika Samuel Mubiru – Head of Division-Finance and Corporate Governance
- Mr. Mandu Humphrey Watenga – Head of Division-Services, Research Planning and Projects
- Mr. Mubiru Shawn – Competitions Director
- Mr. Ahmed Hussein – Director Corporate Affairs
- Mr. Kiryowa Ian – Commercial Director
- Hajati Nalule Aisha – Member Relations Director
- Mr. Lukambi Denis – Legal Director
- Mr. Mutyaba Bashir – Football Development Director
- Mrs. Namuganga Julian Bbosa – Finance Director
The new Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Ampaire Sheba Ronah, previously served as the institution’s Legal Officer.
The appointed officials will provide management and operational oversight within their respective portfolios, supporting the implementation of FUFA’s strategic priorities in line with the approved structure.
The new FUFA structure aligns with its continued commitment to professionalism, accountability and operational efficiency, while also promoting the sustainable development of football across the country. The reforms are expected to strengthen coordination, improve service delivery and enhance engagement with all football stakeholders.
All stakeholders are called upon to take note of the changes and extend the necessary cooperation in ensuring the effective execution of duties under the new secretariat framework.
